All you need to do to use that G3 stock is get some ~100 grit sand paper and sand the little nylon washer on the recoil spring retainer so that it fits nicely in the cetme bolt. Use the entire G3 recoil assembly so that you don't have to mess around with moving the buffer hole. The C308 is heavy but has easily manageable recoil which is comparable to the PTR91. It shoots well while standing as the weight and light recoil contributes to quick follow up shots.
