850 blew up. So my 2022 assault 850 with 1255km blew up the other day. No reasons at all was going on a nice straight and just shut down. I guess the top and the bottom end are gone. What would cause it. Dealer is saying codes show over heating but it was running 100 to 110. Sled had never been over heated ever. If the track is installed on the snowmobile, we remove the rear suspension, lift the tunnel up high and work away. Make note that having minimal fuel in your tank is recommended when lifting the tunnel up high so that your fuel doesn’t drain out the vent. From researching, many riders were getting 5,000 to even 9,000 miles out of their cranks. Some took the time to remove the PTO seal and grease the bearing, while others did not, and were lucky.
